1. Cooling system
Any failure in the cooling system will lead to 2 problems: 1) the water temperature in the silent diesel generator becomes too high due to poor cooling, and 2) the water level in the tank will be lowered due to water leakage, and the silent diesel generator will be unable to operate normally.
2. Fuel/gas distribution system
The increase in the amount of carbon deposits causes the injection volume of the injector to be affected to a certain extent, resulting in insufficient combustion of the injector, so that the injection volume of the engine cylinder will not be uniform and the operating conditions are not stable.
3. Battery
If the battery is not maintained for a long time, the electrolyte water should be added in time after evaporating. If there is no battery start charger, the battery power decreases after long-term natural discharge.
4. Engine oil
If the engine oil is not used for a long time, its physicochemical function will change, resulting in the deterioration of the cleanliness during operation, and further causing damage to the parts of the super silent diesel generator.
5. Diesel tank
The vapour into the diesel generator set will condense into water droplets hanging in the tank wall when the temperature changes. The diesel water content will exceed the standard when the water droplets flow into the diesel, which will corrode precision coupling parts and even damage the silent diesel generator if such diesel enters into the engine high-pressure oil pump.
6. Filters
During the operation of the diesel generator set, oil or impurities will be deposited in the filter wall, which will reduce the filtering function of the filter. Too much deposition will also cause the oil circuit to be blocked and the equipment to be unable to work normally due to shortage of diesel.
7. Lubrication system and seals
The iron filings due to the chemical characteristics of lubricating oil or grease and mechanical wear will not only reduce the lubrication effect, but also damage other parts. Moreover, the lubricating oil has a certain corrosive effect on the rubber seal, and other oil seal will be aging at any time so that its sealing effect is reduced.
